A few things we run into on Cupertino calls again and again.
Rancho Rinconada’s Eichlers sit on slabs, and many Monta Vista ranch homes have original piping. Both call for careful slab-leak detection before anyone opens a floor.
Higher-elevation homes in Monta Vista and Inspiration Heights can see high or uneven water pressure. A pressure regulator and expansion tank, sized correctly, protect fixtures and the water heater.

BAAQMD has adopted zero-NOx standards for certain new water heaters, and additional amendments are currently under consideration.
