Leak Monitor On The Main
Added a flow-monitoring shutoff valve to the water main so a burst line shuts itself off instead of running until someone notices.
Water bill jumped, or a wall gone damp? We find leaks in San Jose homes without demolition — acoustic listening, pressure isolation and thermal imaging, same day.
A San Jose slab leak rarely announces itself. It shows up as a warm patch on the floor of an Evergreen or Blossom Valley ranch, a water bill that doubled with no change in habits, or the sound of running water when every fixture is off. We isolate the system, pressure-test the hot and cold sides separately, and locate the leak acoustically before anyone opens concrete. Knowing whether the leak is under the slab, inside a wall, in the yard line, or at the water heater turns a five-figure guess into a defined job.
The city's older neighborhoods have their own pattern. Pre-1960 homes in Willow Glen, the Rose Garden and Naglee Park frequently still carry galvanized steel supply lines that corrode from the inside and fail at threaded joints inside walls. Copper installed in the 1970s and 80s across Cambrian and Almaden pinholes from the inside out under San Jose Water's mineral-heavy supply. Both are locatable without tearing out drywall on a hunch.
We also chase irrigation and yard-line leaks — the ones that never show inside the house but keep the meter turning. If you want to test before you call: shut every fixture, then watch the meter's low-flow indicator. If it moves, water is going somewhere. Bring us that observation and we can usually narrow the search before we arrive.

Warm floor spots and unexplained humidity in 1950s–70s slab homes are the classic San Jose presentation. We locate before we cut.
